Meet the Characters of Super Mario
Mario
Mario, the iconic character from the Super Mario series, is one of video game history’s most famous and enduring figures. Created by Shigeru Miyamoto and produced by Nintendo, Mario first appeared in the 1981 arcade game “Donkey Kong” as a character named “Jumpman” before evolving into the Mario we know today.
